When the Lord swings open wide the door into another’s life, you never know what is going to be on the other side of that door.
What do you do when you look all around and see nothing but despair? When you poke around the yard and all you find are weeds? What if the welcome mat is worn through and the dirt from the outside has been tracked into the inside so that the two blend together in a whirl of filth? What if the bedrooms are not places where the gifts of marriage are enjoyed, but places where sin is all-consuming?
What if the weight of this world is not balanced with the hope found in Christ alone?
When the darkness is so thick, how does one help another to walk into the light?
How does one like me, with more filth in my home than I can possibly ever rid, help another to set right their own home?
But He said to them, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
